Drassanes is a Barcelona Metro line 3 station located underneath Portal de la Santa Madrona in El Raval, which is included in the Ciutat Vella district of Barcelona. It is named after the Drassanes Reials de Barcelona, the old shipyards of the city that currently hold the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, situated near the station. It is the closest station to the Port of Barcelona and one of the network's closest stations to the sea. The station was completely reformed in 2007 to make it more accessible by modernizing the platforms and installing elevators.

The station was opened on 14 December 1968 as a prolongation on the line from Liceu once Fernando metro station left out of service. Its first official name was Atarazanas in Spanish until 1982 when it was changed into its Catalan form. The station suffered many problems in the past caused by several floods due to its proximity to the sea. For the same reason it is one of the network's shallowest stations and it consists of a single level. In this level there are two tracks served by two 90-meter-long side platforms. The tracks are separated by several concrete columns, one of the features that characterize the station. The platforms are linked by an underpass but each one has its own hall. The platform toward Zona Universitària has a hall with accesses from Drassanes Avenue and Portal de la Santa Madrona while platform toward Trinitat Nova has the hall with just one access from the street.
